Plus Size Shopping

So I am a plus size blogger/shopper and a MASSIVE shopaholic if I have £1 I will find something I can buy for that. So I thought I would tell you some of my favourite shops. I know if your a regular on my blog you will already have a good idea of where I like to shop.

For work clothes I LOVE debenhams brand collection. They are affordable yet fashionable. Of course they do have some frumpy clothes. Don't all shops. I think on average a pencil dress (which we all no I love to rock a pencil dress for work) costs about £30. But because it's debenhams they always have a sale on and you can always find something you will like.

I also like Dorothy Perkins for work dresses. These are good quality for money and also very fashionable. Sometimes they do come up shorter then I like but if your selective you will be fine. There very good for tulip shaped dresses which is another favourite style of mine. There jeans are also really comfortable and they tend to have offers on them as well.

H&M is another good shop. I can get into a size 16 top now so can shop the "normal" range. I HATE that word with a passion. I personally don't like there plus size range. They very rarely have nice things in there. I find them to look frumpy.
(I never understand this. Because were plus sized doesn't mean were ashamed of our bodies and want to hide them in potato sacks. No we want clothes to flatter our bodies and want clothes to work with our curves not against them. Ok rant over.)
I haven't really bought clothes in evan's but love there shoes & boots. I have flat feet which makes my feet wider and of course being plus size I have wider calves so there boots and shoes are all amazing. I have also found there staff to be really friendly and helpful, a rare quality now days. There sales are alway's amazing aswell.

Of course I have to mention my mummy's shop. Not just because it's my mums, but a lot of my winter wardrobe staples are actually from mums ebay shop and my favourite maxi dresses as well.
another on-line store that I am a big fan of is yoursclothing. These have amazing sales an there clothes are such good quality as well.

Now of course eBay in general is a must check out you can get some amazing clothes on there on a budget.

(both dresses ebay and the blazer)

I used to love ASOS but now I find there dresses to be way to short.
I am a big fan of dresses and find them easy to wear all year round but I like them to pass my bottom.

Any shop that you think I need to add to my favourites list?

NOTD: avon coral beat

So I haven't posted a NOTD post I'n ages. I always took pics but never uploaded.
Tonight I painted my nails with Avon coral beat. I'n the bottle this is bright orange. But on my nails it's more of a burnt orange. (which I still like) I applied 2 coats. On a couple of nails they could have maybe done with 3 if I hold them to the light. But I don't like that much nailpolish on each nail. I personally find they chip easier.
I love Avon nailpolishes though and own ALOT of them. Maybe I will post a collection/swatches of avon nailpolishes. Would anyone be interested?
Have you tried any? What did you think of them?

Red red wine

So my love of blazers continue today. Another eBay beauty. I think this was about £10 such a bargain and it was brand new.
Are you a fan of coloured blazers?

I rolled the sleeves up on this because I think it looked nicer and although I'm at the office dressed it down a little. I think about 3 people asked why I was so dressed up. I love dressing smart for the office now I find it puts you I'n a more productive mood. Anyone else try this?

MUA pro range. Glitter Ball Palette

Hi Everyone,

So I bought this palette the other day from superdrug. I think it was about £4. This is just what it says on the packaging glitter eyeshadows. This has big chunks of glitter In them. I found that they still swatch smooth. The only shade that didn't swatch smooth was the cream colour but I think this would look nice In the corner of the eye.

Some of the pale colours need to be layered a couple of times to get a nice colour but I expect that from pale eyeshadows.
Onto some swatches.

Have you tried anything from the pro range? What did you think?

I really want to try more of the products now. I love the original range.

Savings hard

So a post that's a bit different to what I normally blog.
But if any of you follow my YouTube page or twitter you would have noticed I have moved back to my parents. Now I had a lovely little 1 bed flat I'n a nice area, only downfall is it was rented (and not enough wardrobe space :-P) so me and the Mr decided were 23 now, engaged and want to get on the property ladder. Now I never knew it would be so hard. Let's talk numbers when we rented, take a deep breath, we paid £775 rent a month this never included any bills at all. Just rent for a 1 bed flat. Now exhale. So the plan was to move back to our parents. Separately which is really hard having lived together for 3 years, and save for our deposit. Now numbers aside we agreed on x amount to save for 2 years then we would have enough for a deposit, wedding and security money. Security money being really important because you never know what will happen.

Well we are now 6 months I'n and we have only just started saving. The only way I am now saving is because I set up a standing order On payday. Now I now this sounds really simple but out of sight out of mind. The money is gone straight away so I never had it to spend.

Now I am also a shopoholic & Internet shopping is my worst. I do think that we all need treats though because we work so hard we need to be able to reward ourselves. So I also gave myself a weekly budget. I made this an achievable amount because we all know make up prices are on the rise.

My last tip is to get a penny jar that you can not open. Poundlands good for these. And save all loose change. Once the pot is full up hide it away I'n a cupboard or wardrobe and at the end if the year or a special event open them all together. You would be surprised by how much you can save. The saying is every penny counts.

These seem to be helping for now and although it's a very LONG process I know at the end of it I will be a homeowner. And can maybe (hint hint Mr) get a makeup/dressing room.

Do you use any saving tips?

Sorry no pictures but any previous post makes up for this :-)

Under the boardwalk

This has been the song I have been listening to all day by the drifters. Love this song it reminds me of being a teenager and relaxing at my friends house.
Today I wore a pair of earrings from Avon and basically paired my whole outfit around these beauty's. Do you ever do this?

Now get ready for some posing.

Linen feast

So I ordered a gorgeous linen dress from eBay last week and it arrived yesterday. Woo hoo. I was so chuffed with the amazing fast delivery. Of course I had to wear it straight away. Anyone else do this?
I paired it with my cream blazer from eBay and a old skinny White belt.
Today started of a glorious sunny day which this look was perfect for and of course it starts raining at 4 o'clock. Luckily it was that crappy spitting rain so I didn't get completely soaked. (I say that I am at the bus stop as we speak so it could always get worse.)
My shoes were my little bargains from Evans and earrings from accessorise. Necklace, in think this was from Malta but not 100% sure.
Beware: this is very picture heavy

"I wip my hair back and fourth"

Now hide your neck. That's right the turtle pose.

Diva moment...wait...ok it's passed

Look at the surprised face.

Don't mind my itch.

Small tip: if like myself you have a derrière that could give Kim Kardashion a run for her money
"my boyfriends compliment to me and one I'm proud of :-)"
then these pencil dresses/skirts can get tighter where the split is when you sit down. Now of course if we buy the next size up it will be to big and it's not tight until we sit down, and only round the bottom. Who's with me until now?
So my tip for you is before you sit down, slightly pull your dress up a tad and then proceed to sit down.
Who has tried this? Who will try this?

Hope you enjoyed my pictureific post.
