Weekend madness

Hi everyone,

Sorry about the lack of posts this week. Work was crazy then this weekend has been crazy. We met an old friend of the Mr's and became tourists In London on Saturday then Sunday we went round Brighton. We had a really good weekend today we have room duty (cleaning) and I am hoping we put our bed back together today. It was broke because we were missing a part but now we have the missing part I would like to sleep on a bed again instead of just the mattress. Fun times.
So Saturday we went on the duck tours in the morning which was so cool a mini bus that turns into a boat. The concept is crazy but was so much fun.

We then went on the London eye which was amazing. I went on the London eye when I was a kid but I don't think you appreciate it then. But going on it now some of the views were amazing. It was pouring just before we went on which was a shame because a lot of the shots have rain on the windows. but still amazing.

We went to London Zoo after but my phone died and that was what I used to take my pictures. We tried to go to ice bar but unfortunately it was all booked up which was a shame. We then went for dinner at ed's dinner this place was so nice a def recommend from me. They play loads of 50's music I'n the background and you don't have to wait longer then 15 minutes to be seated.

Sunday we went to Brighton. I love Brighton regardless of the weather. It was a bit windy but apart from that it was a nice day. Before we left for Brighton it was piddling it down here. I took a couple of OOTD pics but with my brolly in tow.

A wiggly walk & giggly talk

So today was a proud day for me. I went to my wardrobe and pulled a pair of chinos out that didn't fit me before. I mean wouldn't go past my thighs but today they pulled up and zipped up. Plus even had some wiggle room. Woo hoo (dances around the room) it's such a rewarding feeling. Does anyone else do this?
Hope you like my outfit.

Paradise city

So today's look. For some reason I wanted to wear green and yellow together. Not sure why but I had this idea in my head yesterday. The black tones the look down a lot and stops the yellow from washing me out. So I has to keep my cardigan on all day so the look stayed in tact. I know how vain. :-)
Oh and my hair. My friend had done pin curls yesterday and it looked amazing. I did attempt this but my hair was dry so it didn't work. So I just twisted my hair up with bobby pins and slept in this. My hair looked so good this morning but by about 3 o'clock it fell out a bit. Not enough hairspray. This looked really nice on my short hair though. I will be doing this again.
Pictures this morning with my hair looking nice. (first pic rest taken at work)

Ooby dooby

Today's look for you all hope you enjoy.

So I know the title is a strange one today but I am listening to this song and dancing in my bus seat. Obviously just a butt and shoulder dance so most people won't notice and stare at the strange lady dancing to herself. Now this song is a 50's song and I'm not sure if many of you have noticed but I kinda well LOVE the 40's/50's era. I mean it's not that noticeable. *cheeky grin*

Anyway I prepared this look last night. Of course. While preparing my looks now I always think about what I have worn previously so I can blog about a different look for that day. I did mention this on twitter earlier as well. :-) anyone else do this?

Ok so enough of my mindless waffling. Oh yeah another thing I waffle and write in a similar manner so if anyone was to meet me, well get me talking and I might not stop just a warning. Anyon going to the bloggers meet up this Saturday? I am thinking about going.
So onto my piccies.

That'll do donkey

Today I wore my purple dress from eBay I love this dress but if anything is spilt on this it stains so bad and it can only be dry cleaned which is such a pain. But it's so pretty that I don't mind :-)

I also wore my new(ish) Evans heels. I have only worn these twice and they are really hard on
my feet I have to wear those gel cushions to give my feet padding. Apart from that there really comfortable and the heel isn't to high.
I went a bit snap happy sorry. Hope you enjoy. And have a amazing evening.

Lipstick haul

Soo I went blogsale shopping before my spending ban of course (which I have broke once :-( bad me) anyway, I bought 3 mac lipsticks for about £24 Inc postage which I thinks amazing. They were all pretty much hardly used which is good. Of course as soon as I got them I had to have a play. The colours I got chatter box (amplified) which is a gorgeous pink with tiny specs of glitter but it doesn't feel gritty on your lips I have it on now.

I then got costa chic (frost) This is my favourite of the three. This one I couldn't wait to wear. This is a lovely coral pink. And just looks so pretty I'n the lip.

Last but by no means least I got saint german (amplified) this one I haven't actually worn out just swatched on my lips. This is a pretty pinky/lilac shade. I do have a lilac lipstick from Barry M but u prefer MACs consistency of lipsticks. Sometimes Barry m can be chalky. I am really excited to wear this colour aswell. The camera shows it to look pinkier then it really is.

Now for some swatches of all the lipsticks.

And of course big kisses
