Finding me???

Morning All,

So I went off the blogging border a little *cough cough a lot* recently. I think I lost me a little. I got into a phase where I was just throwing any old thing on I wasn't co-ordinating anything. Most days I didn't wear make up a d shoved my hair up any old how. I hadn't even felt the need to shop. Me not wanting to shop is like sacrilege. I think shopping is in my DNA.
I won't go into everything but I have had a tough few months and my sense of style went missing. Well I have found it again now.
This was yesterday's look.

Dress - forever21
Blazer & beanie - next
Belt - small shop in my town
Necklace - Dorothy Perkins
Shoes - primark

Then I treated myself in the sales. I had said I wasn't going to shop because I am saving with the Mr but I needed a treat so packed lunches at work for the rest of the month for me. 😃
I will start blogging again definitely, my day doesn't feel complete without posing for the camera.
So I hope you can all welcome me back with open arms I have missed the blogging.

Fancy Penguin

Good Morning,

This is an early post for me. But I was super productive this morning and got my mum to take some pictures of today's look for me. This isn't something I would normally wear but wanted to push my own boundaries a little. I actually like this look and now this has opened up more daytime looks for me.

Yesterday I didn't get any outfit pictures but I did manage to picture my make up

Got my mojo back

So I return after a long lost break. I never intended to take a break from blogging I lost my mojo for a while. I wasn't thinking about what I put on and wasn't that fussed. I got into a bit of a rut after I started my new job. The dress code was casual. I'm not very good at "casual" I'm a 50's girl at heart. I love pencil dresses and skirts. The shape flatters my figure so much better then a pair of jeans.
I was just dressing way to casual for my liking but as soon as I put a pair of heels back on I was back to my old self.
So here's a few outfits that I have worn recently.
Normal blogging will now resume.
(warning photo heavy)

Blazer & Bag - debenhams
Shoes - Primark
Dress - TK Max

Jeans - Sainsburys ( the most comfortable jeans I own)
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins
Top - Debenhams

Top & Jeans - Dorothy Perkins
Shoes - New Look
Bag - A present from mum

I hope you liked these looks.
I also went to a fancy dress costume this weekend and went as miss piggy.

Standing to attention

This was the outfit I wore today. Me and Luke went for lunch and then just prepared for work. We had a week off which was really nice but back to reality tomorrow.

Blazer - eBay
Bag - present from mum
Skirt, shoes & top - primark
Necklace - accessorise

When I bought this top my plan was to wear it under a chiffon top but I didn't like the way it looked. Then I ignored it for a while but I actually like it with a high waisted skirt. I have another top like this and now I know how to style it.

Our lunch. Look how big the portions were.

Ladies that lunch

Today I met my old school friends for lunch. We went to TGI Fridays. Some of the girls I haven't seen since I was 16 which was 8 years ago. Oh my I now feel old. It was nice catching up seeing what everyone was up to and how there life's have turned out. So far. We're still only 24.
This was the look I wore.
It ended up being a nice sunny day. It was a but windy but overall sunny. Hence the washing in the background. Luke took the pictures in a rush for me and didn't notice it in the background.
