Camoflauge

So today I actually was able to take some pictures before it got dark. Woo hoo. I had half day to study for an exam coming up. Before I ran out the door for work I got mum to take some outfit pics for me. I think I'm going to have to get her an extra special
Mothers day pressie for all the blog pictures she takes for me.
Do today's look. My theme this week has been comfortable I have had lots of exams so running to London then back for work then home to study I have needed comfy attire for this.
Blouse & Shoes - primark. (this blouse is so comfortable and so versatile I wish I had bought more colours)
Trousers - debenhams (again I am loving this trouser cut at the moment and I am going to have to find a few more pairs)

Jewellery Armoir

Evening All,

So today I thought I would introduce you to one of my main Christmas presents.
I love this so much it's perfect to hide away my sparkly goodies while looking so chic.
This looks like a full length mirror



But when you unlock this little lady she hides all these goodies.



This is perfect for holding all of your jewellery and really holds a lot.
So I will walk you through what I have in here.
First my necklaces. There's two sides for this. The inside & the outside. Both hold a lot in here which is good for me.

Next we have earrings. This holds a lot of dangly earrings I don't have that many but I do have a good excuse to shop for more now :-)
I keep smaller ones at the top and larger ones at the bottom.



My rings. Rings are my favourite piece of jewellery to wear & I'm really glad this holds a lot of them.



Bracelets. I don't wear that many bracelets. I do own a few but I think I prefer then in the summer. I keep my watches in here as well



I mainly keep all my costume jewellery in here rather then anything expensive but this does lock so you could keep valuables in here.

embarrassing encounters

Evening all, So this week has been a really rubbish one. I have a massive coldsore on my face from stressing about exams not good. So no outfit posts from me. Instead I have a bad case if January blues. I decided to think about funny outfit blunders from when I was a teenager and like most I have a few. I thought I would share a couple on here. Change my blog up a bit. These are going to be about embarrassing underwear encounters. Come on now we all have had these. (haven't we??) Ok so while I sit here realising maybe only some people get themselves in these silly situations. By some people I mean me. Ok my first encounter is a little less embarrassing then the second but let's start things of slowly here. I was 13 at the age where your noticing boys and pubity is in full swing. I was going to my friends for a sleepover we were on the bus to hers and I wanted to show her my new bag that I had brought that day. I remember it being a little white bag. I pulled it out of my sleepover bag (probably a Jane Norman bag these were very fashionable when I was young) she was looking at me laughing I look down and what's attached to my bag....my bridget jones bright blue knickers. To make matters worse there was a group of boys at the back if the bus laughing at my big bloomers. Oh my goody gosh I could of died with embarrassment. To make matters worse we were on that bus another 20 minutes after that. So your thonging what could be worse. (do you liked hint there?) So here I am 15 an age where everything in the world is massive drama. Parents are just so over rated and no nothing about being young. Who else remembers these years? I think I was the queen of strops then. So, I was 15 and dating a boy in the year above at school. We had decided to go on a "date" at the park. He brought his friend I brought mine. So I was trying my best to look good without trying to hard. All I remember about the outfit was that I wore low rise jeans and a thong. Now not any thong. No. When I was 15 the fashionable thongs had diamonte detailing at the back. I no what your thinking. Classy. Oh they were exactly that..... These were fashionable and when your 15 you follow the craze. So were at the park. It wasn't really a park just a green field with a ramp. We had to run up the ramp to sit down. While sitting there talking trying to be all nonchalant. My thong snaps. Literally where the diamonte detailing was at the back it snaps in half. I whisper to my friend that we had to go and explained the situation. Quietly of course. She nods in agreement that we should leave. I tell the boys that we had to leave the park was close to my friends so I said my friends mum had dinner ready for us. Just as my very good friend points out it's because my thong has broken. If there was a moment for the ground to open up and swallow me that was definitely one of them moments for me. Red Ruby

Evening all, Today has been an awful day and really feels like a Friday. I booked tomorrow as holiday at work as I need a little break. At the moment I am in exam season. I have 5 exams this month and I'm extremely stressed so need a day to catch up with sleep before cramming starts again on Saturday. Today's outfit was nice and bright to make me smile. I also got to wear my new cardigan from primark which I have been waiting to wear all week. I hope you all had a good day. A grumpy mere

Today wasn't a good day for pictures. I must have taken about 30 and hardly smiled in any of them. I was smiling just not when the camera was looking. I did manage to get a few good pictures though. It's a Monday that's my excuse and I am sticking to it. I hope you all had a great Monday. I am now of to sleep I have an exam tomorrow.

Tulips in winter

At last it's friday this week has been a long one and I am really looking forward to my lay in tomorrow. I haven't worn this tulip dress since summer I'm glad I pulled it out today.
So far I think I have done myself proud with my outfits in 2012. I hope you agree :-)

Baggy Blouse

Today was another outfit that I loved so much and felt so comfy in.
This has been a long week I am looking forward to a rest on Saturday after we have hunted for a new bed that is.

First day of work in 2012

So today was my first day back at work and like most people when the alarm went of I pushed snooze for as long as I could. I did finally get up though and I wore something that made me feel extra special to make me feel better.

Bank holiday Monday

Today was my last day of resting before I go back to work. I have painted my nails went to the carvery with my family. A nice relaxing day. Now I am about to go plan my outfit ready for work tomorrow.
